Brazil cancels jet fighter upgrade plans

Brazil canceled its plans to spend $700 million on at least 12 new fighter jets to upgrade its air force. This is a blow for Lockheed who offered 12 F-16 Fighting Falcons.

Belgian F-16s train with French KC-135s

From February 21st till February 25th a KC-135FR tanker from the French Armée de l'Air will be stationned at Kleine Brogel AB, Belgium for qualification training of Belgian F-16 pilots and French KC-135 boom operators in in-flight refueling procedures.

AGE Airmen keep ground mission running

Hill fixes damaged Egyptian aircraft

A severely damaged Egyptian F-16 will soon return to its home country, in next-to-new condition, after undergoing a complicated four-year overhaul by a team of specialized aircraft repair experts here.
The F-16 Management Directorate at the Ogden Air Logistics Center (ALC), Utah, is increasing aircraft availability for F-16 units across the Air Force by using a "big picture" approach to streamlining processes.

Norwegian F-16s protect Baltic states

Norwegian F-16 fighter jets were preparing Sunday to take charge of patrolling Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia's air space this week.
The U.S. Air Force and five EPAF countries - Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal - are receiving new technologies for their F-16s that will ensure the latest combat capabilities, along with an unprecedented degree of interoperability and cost savings among these NATO allies.
The Belgian ministry of defence started the dismantlement of their 31 oldest F-16 Fighting Falcons. Since their retirement from service, these jets have been stored in Weelde, near Antwerp.
