Eighth Fighter Wing officials at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, decided earlier this year that they needed a faster way of getting jets from the maintenance hangar to combat-ready status.
A test team from the Global Power Fighters Combined Test Force at Edwards AFB (California) moved a step closer to demonstrating the full combat capability of the newest variant of the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile on the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Peace Carvin IV first delivery

The first five of the Singapore Peace Carvin IV aircraft were delivered from the factory in Ft Worth on th 8th of July. The remaining deliveries are scheduled by the end of the calender year.

F-16 pilot won't face court-martial

An Air Force F-16 pilot who in 2002 mistakenly dropped a 500-pound bomb on a group of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan, killing four, will not face court-martial, the Air Force said last Thursday.
According to a story from Manchester Online, 6 Dutch F-16s caused some interest in the U.K. when people thought that they were unidentified flying objects.
