Started out at the 79FS at Shaw in 2000 before it went to the AMU(Best assignment/group/people ever). Crewed 92-3923, then accepted (from factory) and became the first DCC on 00-0226. Left Shaw in 2004 spent a year in the Kun at phase. Got out of Korea on the old equals list...and poof Holloman (F-117) is what i got stuck with. However, from 2005-2008 we had a blast there, had a great crew. Crewed 81-0794 for 2 of 3 yrs, did some Demo stuff and then left for AK. Eielson in the frozen north wasn't as bad as I made it out to be from 2008-2011. Crewed 86-0286 for 1 yr and then on to QA. Left QA in 2011 and i've been here at Moody on the flying dumpster known as the A-10 since. Did the dock chief thing for a month then moved to the office as the NCOIC. Guess it could be worse...but i damn sure do miss 16's....

Current or Favourite assignment

79FS/AMU from 200-2004 was the best. When the AF had money and took "really" good care of people. Great TDY's, deployments, i mean you surely didnt mind going to work during those days!!

Never made it to DCC on 923, before i accepted 226 straight from the factory and became the first DCC. Didn't crew it long and i was off to Korea!!

Crewed 794...Fu** Holloman, but we had a good time there....

Only crewed this bad boy in desert camo for a yr. Then made the move to QA...

Yeah A-10's, it's like watching the special kid get on the bus for school. Absolutely defies all that you've ever learned in proper acft maintenance. You can pretty much do anything and if not, there's a 107 for it...Ridiculous...Damn do i miss 16's....
