The aircraft crashed at 6:30 hours over rugged terrain in Yenice. The two pilots, Captain Fatih Devravut and Lieutenant Fatih Keskin, where killed in this accident. The aircraft took off from Akinci AB (Murted) in the morning for a training flight when it disappeared from radar screens.

The F-16 crashed around 10:50hrs local time during a training flight at 36 kilometers away from the Merzifon district center. The pilot ejected safely.

Crashed because of an engine failure. The engine went to SEC mode during a ground attack training and the pilot consequently declared an emergency and tried to return to the base. Unfurtunately, 400 to 500 feet from the runway he had to eject. The pilot, Major Semih Birdogan, ejected safely.

Crashed due to an engine failure at Yedigoller (seven lakes) region near Bolu. The pilot, 1st Lt. Hakan Dinc, ejected safely only suffering minor injuries.

The aircraft made a belly landing with extensive damage to the underside and internal cables. Lockheed seemed the aircraft unrepairable (at least economically), but the TuAF decides to repair it anyway.

Crashed during a training flight in the early evening. Cause is still under investigation. The pilot was killed in the mishap.

Formation landing with this F-16 as wingman. Because of a brake system problem the aircraft drifted off the right side of the runway. Nose gear failed and that is how the damage occurred. Pilot remained with the aircraft.

More unconfirmed crashes

November 6th, 1997: 131 Filo, crashed near Asagi Pinarbasi with Lt. Mustafa Gumus and 2nd Lt. Tugkan Inan ejecting.

September 25th, 2001: no more info.
