According to the Dawn newspaper, the Pentagon has awarded a $78.2 million contract to supply Pakistan with electronic warfare systems for the countries F-16s.
The Polish Air Force has selected the Rockwell Collins F-16C Modular Simulated Aircraft Maintenance Trainer (MSAMT) for the training of the aircraft’s maintenance personnel. Delivery is expected in April 2008.

The Pratt & Whitney WSK PZL-Rzeszów facility has completed the assembly and testing of 43 F100-PW-229 engines for the Polish F-16s.

Lockheed Martin, which is trying to sell its fighter aircraft F-16s to the Indian Air Force, on Wednesday announced opening of its India subsidiary that will market all its operating systems in the country.
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics of Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a firm fixed price contract modification for $498,206,058 to support the sale of block 52 F-16s to Pakistan.
Last week, the first in-flight contact of the EADS MTA Air Refuelling Boom System (ARBS) has successfully been performed using an F-16 combat aircraft.
Northrop Grumman Systems received a $730 million contract for covering up to 514 AN/APG-68(V)9 radar systems.

F-16 shoots down ballistic missile

Raytheon successfully flight tested a key component of the Network Centric Airborne Defense Element (NCADE) missile defense system with the intercept of a test ballistic missile.
