The C's wing span sure seems big in that video.

What's with the "can't trade bombs for AA missiles" assertion?

Slim Pickens is all like: "Sheeeit! Who put this damn missile where the bomb's supposed to go!?"
The sky is blue because God loves the Infantry.
What is the time-line on that double rack for 6 total internal missiles?

This is me (sans usual short cropped beard allowed by RAN FAA) in me Slum Puckens guise (asked to pose this way by a senior officer making a VC-724 Squadron line book page satirising me and an instructor dropping a drop tank (and an empty rocket pod in his case) on our Beecroft Range in error during A4G Weapon Practice (for our OFS Operational Flying School). I escaped penalty due my instructor dropping the pod after I dropped the empty tank, which spiralled spectacularly to the ground according to the A4G pilot flying some distance behind to drop an intended Practice Bomb (from a 450 knot 30 degree dive angle at around 4,000 feet). sigh.

That's a great story. Also, remember this? For good measure, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlSQAZEp3PA

Original VC-724 Line Book page. Now 42 years old and a little worse for wear, being yellowed, with the camera flash visible top left. Whatever was intended for the void never made it onto the page. Our instructor is standing in the 'graphic crapper' with the an actual empty 2.75 in rocket pod. I was asked to pose on the recovered empty tank which of course is slightly dented.

I can't quite make out what the aliens are saying. Out of curiosity, did the Melbourne ever have nukes onboard? Back in the day, the US shared a number of joint custody weapons.

Nukes? No - KNUCKS (of the non-crab kind) or ZOOMies in other woids.
What are joint custody weapons? Made from funny baccy?
And the alien comedians are saying: "Oh, dear, somebody pressed the wrong button!"
