ought to see it when it fly's over my house, some times it sure makes a sound like those F-18's on the back side of the power curve.

you should have seen or heard AA-1 today, I got a JOAP sample on it this afternoon.

Pardon my ignorance on the matter, but what are the side opening doors for just aft of the lift fan?
No plane on Sunday, maybe be one come Monday...

Aux. intake doors for the engine.

The website, jsf.mil is in the public domain. I check every once in while to see if there is any new info. I worked for LM for nearly 5 years so I like to follow JSF's progress.
