OK, then what's the PRETTIEST military aircraft (non-Viper)

Military aircraft - Post cold war aircraft, including for example B-2, Gripen, F-18E/F Super Hornet, Rafale, and Typhoon.

I'm a HUGE F-15 fan, but have to give it to the Cat on looks. Looks downright mean, nasty and built for war. The Eagle looks almost docile (yet elegant) by comparison.

Coolest looking bird is PAK-FA IMO. For all her imperfections, the layout is just fantastic. And then they had to throw in those sexy LEVCON's or whatever. Wow. Those are the equivalent of DD's!!!

My current desktop background. I loved the aggressor F15s.

Add my vote for the Vulcan. Just an amazing looking aircraft. So far ahead of it's time. The British were still at the leading edge of aviation technology in the 1950s. Blended lift body like the flying wing. The Vulcan was the co-star in the James Bond movie "Thunder Ball". Me and my friends had never seen a cooler airplane. At the time other then the B-52 what bomber could have attacked East Falkland from 4,000mi away? I just wonder what it's RCS was? V is for Victory Bombers.

B-1B (though technically it was nuclear only at the time).

Or not armed at all, thought the B-1 entered service in 1986.

Since the Vulcan's used inflight refueling that opens up the contenders list a bit. Using the KC-10 Extender as a refueling aircraft the FB-111 with EFTs could do the job. The Soviet TU-95 Bear, or the TU-22M Backfire Bombers using TU-16N Badgers for airborne tankers could also have done it.
