If you like that you're going to love these
Of course that is supposed to be its optimal climb profile; speed up on the deck and then pull up.
there is no doubt to anyone here that the F-22 is a kinematic beast.

But... the PAK FA just set a new time to climb record?

I take it this was "fake news", and the Raptors Time 2 Climb figures are... classified?

Thanks charlielima223. I did see that video in my travels on YouTube.
At the ~41 seconds mark in the video I posted--that climb is bestially Both jets came out of blower quickly,
after initiating their eye-watering climbs.
Cruise climbs to 50,000 feet...fully-armed, maximum stealth. Perhaps as much as 78,000 LBS of thrust at sea level...
That's sledgehammer power.

I'd say F-22 is more impressive, but MiG-29 looks good too. MiG-29 smoke effects are impressive too... IMO, the F-22 looks really menacing when it turn the nose up. It just looks really violent event.

So which one would you say tops the list? And why does the Raptor yaw to the right before taking off? to prevent jet-blast damage to the runway maybe?
Anything else you guys wna add?
Both are impressive, but doesn't the Raptor perform a "slow" climb at shows? It must, given it comes to an absolute stop at the apex??
Which is to say, we're not seeing its max performance climb at shows? Likely not seeing max performance anything, but it's still my favorite show performer. Hope the F-35 can give it a run for its money though!
