Info on Luke Opportunities

I hear in the rumor mill there will be more civilian slots there. Is there still a all civ squadron there? (L-3) Any info is appreciated.

The 21st FS is all civilian. They are hiring all the time, sorry I don't have any contacts for you. Those are some really funky jets though.....good luck.

The civilian job rumor at Luke circulates all the time. However, Transient Alert is now civilian contracted. Just call the Luke base operator (623-856-1110) to get the number for TA or the 21st maintenance section.

That's the best place to start and ask who you need to contact concerning open positions.

TA jobs are very spotty, cut backs by the contractors to stay competitive with each other has put a real strain on the guys still there.
If you think working for the Government is cut throat, you haven't seen anything like being a contractor for a small or even a medium size firm.
Phase dock may soon be contracted out at most locations. So you may have hope soon at a base near you.
