DynCorp Middle East aviation employment has recently been awarded a major defense contract in the Persian Gulf region requiring immediate staffing. These positions primarily consist of transient aircraft servicing and maintenance at the following locations:

1. Al Dhafra, UAE
2. Thumrait, Oman
3. TBD, Qatar
4. Bahrain
5. Kuwait

Each location will require a minimum of 20 employees and 5 supervisors. Primarily we are requesting F-15 / F-16 backgrounds, but cargo aircraft experience will also be considered. Note these are not 'prospective' contracts, we are hiring immediately, but do request candidates who are willing to deploy on short notice and have CURRENT secret security clearance. Please forward your resume and contact information to myself or my assistant, Raymond Smith.

Seven level documentation and current A&P license will take priority for all supervisor positions.

Our human resource specialist Katherine Dorsey will be assisting all applicants, however you will be required to submit a deployment physical and overseas dental exam prior to travel to DFW for screening and processing. These costs will not be reimbursed. Thank you for your consideration.

The pay is never in the announcement. There are too many variables to post. The pay in each location will be different. Depending on the cost of living allowance.

Say you in Bahrain living on the economy. Have to buy a car and your own food.

Or your at Al Udied and take the company bus. And eat at the chow hall.

Say your at Bagram and are being shot at.

3 different levels of pay.

So the morale of the story is apply for every job you see. You can always say no later. But if you never send in your resume. You can never say yes.

Also you might not get picked up now. But a year from now the may have guys quit. And go back through there list of names.

That's why you never change your phone number or email address. Ive gotten call 2 years after I applied for a job. Asking me if I am still interested.

Please forward all questions regarding this issue to myself first, rex.hensley@dyn-intl.com, as I am the primary POC for this program.

If you are unable to reach myself or Raymond Smith in a timely manner, Miss Dorsey can assist in all matters regarding deployment.

Again, we are not currently updating or reinstating security clearance for this program. A current, active Secret clearance is required before beginning processing, and those willing to deploy quickly will be given hiring priority.

Thank you for your interest in DynCorp International opportunites.

Filling the team before they get the game... Otherwise if the get the game without any players they can't deliver.

So you say that there still might be a chance for the jobs? I emailed 2 days ago when I saw the post from Rex Hensley and have not heard anything back. Still waiting on an email from either Rex or Katherine. If anyone has some insider tips, here is my email...Postaldog2k2@hotmail.com :bang:

I don't know a thing about this contract.

What I am saying is that this sort of thing happens. They gather resumes, interview, etc... All while "prepairing" in anticipation of a contract. How they can fill one so fast. This is why they always seem to be in a rush.

Good luck all,

They may have been told they have the contract. But with all of the cuts to the Air Force this past week. Plus the plan to now leave Afghanistan a year early. The Air Force may have just cancelled the contract.

The USAF doesn't do contracts like that over there for aircraft maintenance; besides look at the locations.

Those are foreign contract jobs most likely.

All the contracts in the USAF are still funded for the Fiscal Year; our FY goes from OCT to OCT. Any contracts that are in place will be funded through the end of SEP.

Any cuts to contract maintenance would occur in October when contracts aren't renewed or scaled back.
