For those who might be interested, there is an egress job open at (http://www.hawkerbeechcraft.com/employment/). The posting ID is 0101126. This is a job at the factory and not a military base. You arm and de-arm the egress system regulary for aircraft coming in for modification, and also arm seats and other egress related systems, and install them on new aircraft. If you have trouble locating the job on the web-site, feel free to email your resume to me and I will get it to where it needs to go. I am the egress crew chief for HBC. (fordeject001@yahoo.com)

You might be wise to retrain. Egress jobs are few and far between.

Far between? It doesn't matter. I am very flexible. :) I like working on ejection seats.

I have other knowledges but I don't want to change my speciality.

Just a quick question. How is that Egress only job search working out for you?

So, as you mentioned, egress jobs are few. It is not easy to find one even on the internet. I have been working as a seat specialist for 8 years and now I am looking for a new job as a civilian technician or engineer. I have other knoledges and trainings but I do not have too much experience in them because I always work on escape system. :) In other hand I like working on ejection seat and I do not want to give it up. I have experience on Martin Baker seat (not only) and T-6 has a MB seat. That is why I inquired about it, but unfortunately fordeject001 does not seem to be an active member. :(

Yes, unfortunately your going to find that there are a lot of clowns in the aviation industry. Especially in the Human Resource's Office.

It took a while but I finally learned. If the HRO department does a great job. Finds exceptional people. Doesn't screw them over by taking a year to reply to your resume. Then they would be quickly out of a job. If they tell their bosses. That they cant find anyone. Then they will get some overtime.

If you want some help. Drop me a line.

All...
Hawker Beechcraft may be posting another egress openning soon. Please send your resume to (fordeject001@yahoo.com). I am not HR or a headhunter, I am the Escape Systems Crew Chief for Hawker Beechcraft. We prepare the escape system for new aircraft, as well as work on aircraft coming back to the factory for modifications. We utilize fiber optics and cutting cord in our system, and use the MK16 seat from Martin Baker.
