I was just looking at some old pictures from Incirlik. Does anybody remember the Wagon Wheel aka the Broken Spoke? I remember the SPs would stay pissed off at us trying to get us to leave. I was wondering if anybody could remember any moments that stood out while at the Spoke. I still have a horseshoe that I took in 90 hanging up in my office

Oh No Chris did you just admit that as an AF member you stole property from a host nation. OSI will be visiting you soon. Shame, shame on you, But then again alot of my tools have funny looking etchings on them, letters and numbers. I wonder what they mean? And I have alot of pens that say Skilcraft on them and a clock from the Lighthouse for the Blind.

I got so sick of Proud to be an American in that place it still drives me up the wall to here it. Every other song is a bit much. Had a conversation with a Turkish F-4 pilot one night. Fire Marshall's used to turn people away towards the end of Desert Storm. Too many people. Good Place to spend a war.

I was stationed at the 'Lik, and was at the broken spoke the night they closed it forever. I got the original drink prices sign (I think it had a cowboy on it), but passed in on to Scott Jerome.

Your 1 man may have been playing pool at the new "Wagon Wheel", but the original was a Quonset hut kind of place that was torn down. It was next to where the main gym is now.

I realize this is an OLD thread, but I'm just finding it and it brings back A LOT of old memories!

I was the DeeJay at the Wagon Wheel from '93 to '95 so I have TONS of pictures/videos/memories from the Wheel. I go back through all of my old photo albums occassionally and even throw in a VHS tape every once in a while and smile.

Anyone out there still have a Wagon Wheel coin?
