Hello to you all, my name is Chad Patterson and I am a brand spanking new guardsman at the ripe old age of 34. I actually found this site while trying to look up the Air Force regulation for moustaches. Funny, I know, I actually NEED a moustache for my civilian job so I'm trying to figure out how to work around the whole one weekend a month thing. Any ideas?

You can grow your mustache all you want for your civilian job as long as you trim it up for your guard weekends. Just can't extend past the edge of your mouth or over your upper lip and be trimmed nice and neat. Should be able to find the reference in AFI 36-2903. Do a search for Air Force e-publishing and once you get to the website there will be a search function on the right side. type in 36-2903 and it should take you right to it.

36-2903....my old nemesis. Was never real fond of that SOB 3510 either.

I never liked the modified hitler stache, but I didn't have Gen Olds' balls to try and get away with what he had.
