There is 1 frame right after yours (just as the pilot was told to wrap it up) that shows a detailed Block 4 list. Too bad they did not stream them in 1080 :(

I have attached a slightly clearer version of your slide and the one I found.

Thanks BOTH. I'm having trouble capturing the OPNAV video today - last night caught Future CAW OK so I dunno….?

Captured it now (apparently two parts that were stitched together by WinX YouTube Downloader so at 1.7Gb twice this took forever with only ADLS2 speed. Then there will be two edits [F-35C & MQ-25 bits] then UPLOAD to YuGottaBe KiddinMe which takes over my computer and is very slow so HOLD YOUR BREATH and expire. This'll take awhile.....

lol...

That capabilities list is quite interesting.. if you can read it.

New EOTS is in, Cognitive EW, UAI, bay improvements (3 AMRAAM maybe?), etc.

I requested that Tailhook post the PDF/PPT files, but I would not hold your breath. I could request a FOIA but that could take a year.

Looks to be essentially the same list as this one:

Does seem to be a couple new additions though - I see AARGM ("BLK 4.3"?) in the Tailhook slide (yellow region, second column from the right) and some things like (not sure if I'm reading these right though) "Automated Defect Entry", "Life Support Integ"; there might be a couple others here and there.

When looking at the "Block 4 Hardware Elements" frame/slide I couldn't help noticing the 'Weapons Bay Modification' under the "Air Vehicle Modifications" category. Is this part of the upgrade what will give the F-35 the capability to carry 6 AMRAAMs internally?
“Active stealth” is what the ignorant nay sayers call EW and pretend like it’s new.

I initially though it's the change for SDB II, but that was only for F-35B right? Since this slide focuses on the C model, it might be for other reasons (weapons) indeed.

Nice joke 14 min in at the Future Carrier Air Wing panel.

British OODA loop: Observe, Overreact, Destroy, Apologize.

Though 2016 aired version was the other way around:

Yes, that's my impression as well.
Also my impression is that the F-35C weapon bays are the exactly the same as the F-35A weapons bays, so any "weapon bay upgrade" on the -C will/should be done exactly the same as in/for the F-35A.

A while back the JPO said that the bay will only be changed "once". That leads me to believe that "if" 3 AMRAAMs can fit, the bay changes will include that spacing. After that, creating the launchers is another thing altogether.

There's also the chance that the F-35B bay modifications (a bracket and hydraulic lines being moved) may be made across all 3 variants for the sake of commonality going forward.
