Must admit, I stopped reading SNAFU a while back - as if the rants about the F-35 weren't bad enough, when he also started ranting about women in uniform and (God forbid!) in combat positions, that was it for me. I have too many female colleagues who have served in combat zones to stomach that kind of nonsense.

Who actually is this guy that anyone even pays attention to him? Looks like a run-of-the-mill YouTube commenter.

So the UK will begin the process of disentanglement from the EU this autumn.... good for them.

Obviously Sol, doyene of foreign affairs knows that the F-35 in the UK is kaput
http://snafu-solomon.blogspot.ie/2016/0 ... itary.html

I don't know how the F-35 proocurement managed to survive successive poor Eurovision song contests & a poor showing in the Euro's against Slovakia!

Oh Soloman, you couldn't resist. Look before you leap. This reminds me (Canuck reference here) of unprofessional childish twitter analysts jumping the gun and announcing NHL player trades that are mere rumours as done deals and looking stupid. OMG, there's thousands of chips that need to fall here in economic issues & the ink is barely dry on the Brexit ballots & BOOM, the F-35 is doomed? This guy is truly remarkable
There's an old rule among many in the fighter procurement business: "Too Early to Tell, Too Late to Stop".
