Where I am a lot of videos do not play here because of the way they are presented. Nevertheless always good to have the proper URL as well as whatever way it is embedded on the page. I guess because of the advertisement at the beginning the video above will not play here. However I can right mouse click on the video to copy the URL and then etc. etc.

This is the complete proper unadorned unedited etc. for video URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOCJ_4hHyXE

While you make a good point Spaz about the usefulness of posting the link like that, when I right click the video above, one of my options is to "Copy Video URL" or "Copy link location." Would that also provide the necessary information?
Take an F-16, stir in A-7, dollop of F-117, gob of F-22, dash of F/A-18, sprinkle with AV-8B, stir well + bake. Whaddya get? F-35.

Hmmm - that is what I wrote also? I'm making a general point about video links that 'don't work' as seen otherwise.

How do I do it? TITLE then URL then underneath the 'youtube' brackets etc (which sometimes does not work because ADs).

To be honest, I was a little suspicious of C's Maneuverability before the Navy/Marine F-35C Air Show video appeared. (a little). ; Because... it looked like a Heavy Monster with each approx an Empty Weight 16 tons + Fuel 9 tons. (imprudence  )...
But...
But, but! My previous impression was wrong!
This time the video, looks like a pretty awesome instantaneous Turn Rate! (Like a DOJO drift) wow. Climb is amazing as well. 8) C is... The Powerful Monster!!!! (and Beautiful Long Wings :inlove: )

I also wondered about the nimbleness of the C, but so much for the TVC debate (wrt to turning at least), and the hazy assumption the F-35 is not quite that agile. Clearly that is now known not to be the case. Amazing how different each variant is. In the end the lighter, lower-drag and much cheaper F-35A is the real 'monster'. However the C should be able to operate from shorter runways if it needs to perform prep strikes or patrols via FARPing a squadron well ahead of the carrier. F-35C may be able to cruise higher and more efficiently for improved specific consumption too. The bigger wing may be higher drag but will need less AoA at altitude with a load on, for a likely higher cruise speed, regardless.

A CVN is prolly the best 'farping thingo' for the F-35C and meanwhile back to the AIRSHOWS....
EdinburghAirShow2019: Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November
"...The Air Show will commemorate the Centenary of the epic flight in November 1919 of notable South Australians Sir Ross Smith and his brother, Sir Keith Smith, who flew from England to Australia in 1919 in a Vickers Vimy to win the Great Air Race...." https://www.airforce.gov.au/exercises/e ... irshow2019

"...Air Force Head of Air Shows, Air Commodore Christopher Sawade, said the Edinburgh Air Show will showcase a wide variety of fast jet, transport and rotary wing aircraft. “Our newest maritime patrol aircraft, the Edinburgh-based P-8A Poseidon, will have pride of place alongside our fast jets – including the F/A-18 Hornet – and heavy lift aircraft like the C-17A Globemaster,” Air Commodore Sawade said. “The F-35A Joint Strike Fighter will also be on display for the first time in Adelaide.” Senior ADF Officer, Air Commodore Phil Gordon, said he was proud to be hosting the Air Show at RAAF Base Edinburgh. “This will be the first ADF Air Show at RAAF Base Edinburgh in 12 years,” Air Commodore Gordon said. “Crowds can expect to see more than four hours of flying displays on each day, featuring Air Force, Navy and Army aircraft...." https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/edinbur ... st/2657944
