New layout and navigation

My biggest beef (or smallest depending on how you think about it) is that most forum software does not scale well. In other words, it leaves large areas of screen real estate unused for now reason.

Take a look at your site at 1920 x 1080 resolution:

Notice the unused areas on the left and right?

F-16.net does an average job of using the screen but leaves a lot of space unused.

You are not the worst, by far. Look at Aviation Week. Less than one third of the screen is used. Seriously?? What did I buy a 28 inch screen for??

If we would scale, which we perfectly could, the text would become hard to read as the lines would be wider than recommended by usabilty standards.

The advantage of buying such a large monitor is that you can juxtapose two browser windows for example, or that you can use the zoom function so everything becomes a bit easier to read/see.

You could always make it a display option.
