F-16 drawing and some questions

Hi! I am currently working on a F-16 profile drawing. It still a work in progress so a lot of it will change
I have a couple of questions though and this appears to be THE place to ask them.
1. First of all ofcourse, what do you guys think of it so far?
2. A lot of aircraft I see have pilot and crewchief names written on the Gear doors and Canopy sills. This writing appears to all be generally the same style of writing. Is there some kind of font for this?
3. Does anyone have any high resolution images of the left side of the ejection seat on F-16C's?
4. Does anyone have any linedrawing or photography from the left (red) side of TER/MER's ?

The letters are a standard block style letters. Nothing special about them. Most are on the canopy sills. I have only seen a few on the nose gear doors. Very few.

Well I particularly like it since it's one of our jets. It actually represents 85-1500. I can tell you that pilot name in on left rail, DCC is on right rail (Leon Keys), and assistant crew chiefs are on nose gear door in our unit and all letters are in script not block. I would imagine Dave Cook has some pics of this jet since the paint job is relatively new. (Past few months)

Hi FalconFixer, I am doing this one on request of Dave Cook I have a lot of stuff allready done, i am just a bit hesitant to hand draw all the pilot names etc. as it would be a LOT of work and would look nowhere near as good if I could find a font for it

Here is a pic of the jet I'm assigned to. Font is the same for rails. I think it might be "Brush Script MT"

I have complete walkarounds of that jet, and all 181FW jets, if it will help your project.

Also what do you guys think of the AOA indexer attached below?
Jake: I would be most interested in walkaround images! I took a look at your site and loved the pictures of the tail markings at the ANG Commanders meeting! Higher resolution versions of those would be very much appreciated too

The AOA probe looks good, but the diamond shape around it is not a part of the radome structure. You generally see this diamond pattern as a result of the AOA probe cover which is installed on the ground, and the diamond is caused by contaminants (dirt, etc) getting between the probe cover and the radome surface.

I have a buddy who is big time into fonts and he says "Brush Script MT" is very close but he cannot find an exact match in his font library. These decals are cut on a machine and the font may be proprietary to the manufacturer. If you use "Brush Script" you probably won't get too many arguments. I see the jets on a regular basis and probably would not notice the small differences.

While Joe is correct I've always been a fan of jets that are portrayed in a more "realistic" condition rather than ones that look straight out of the paint shop. A little shading aft of the gun, and JFS and the noraml areas that would get wear and tear. The jets are workhorses not showcars and I'd prefer to remember the way they looked in service and not a museum. But that's just my opinion and preference and I know most wouldn't agree with me.
