1/32 Tamiya in Flying Config?

Here you can discuss paint schemes, kit details etc. for flying and non-flying scale models.

I'd like to build a 1/32 Tamiya T-bird kit as a Nellis aggressor, using the in-flight option(s). Can anyone advise on the correct flight regime for use of the 'extended' LEFs? Would they only be out/drooped when the landing gear are extended? I think they'd add visual interest, but I want the in-flight depitction to be correct. I plan to have the gear retracted.

Thanks-

The flight regime can vary, it depends on the needs of the maneuver. But there's plenty of pics showing the LEFs deployed in flight, without the LG down. Just look around, do a search on airliners, you'll see what I mean.

the LEFs deploy during high alpha conditiions, i.e. turn and burn and the trailing edges are flush, non-deflected.

Thanks, that's just the kind of input I was looking (& hoping) for...
