Hello!

I wonder if anyone can help me regarding information on the enclosed patch. Is this a patch from Bentwaters in the UK operated by the USA?

Any info would do.

Hello Jon !

Yes it is exactly what you said - the patch of the USAFE 527th squadron (they had an agressor role). Used when they were flying from RAF Bentwaters in the late 80s (1988-1991 I think, Meathook will probably know loads of toads more than me on this one). Notably, the only USAFE F-16 squadron ever to fly from UK soil.

I find it very amusing, nice thought from the designers.
"144-0 kill ratio.....Ok 144-1 but that's 1 compared to your entire airforce."

I read recently that the squadron reactivated as an Aerospace Satellite Aggressor squadron. Nice patch, much better than the other "russian" Fighting Fulcrum one! 8)
