Arrived at Shaw Dec 2001 and was an engine troop in 55th for the next six 6 years. Well except for 10 months from Oct 2002 in the 78th but we ended up becoming the 55th so I wasn't away for long. The 78th was a great unit. But it became even better when we became the 55th. Engines moved from specs to crew cheifs in 2005 in the 55th to help them out. 77th and 79th did not move untill begining of 2008. Being a crew chief is kinda fun. A lot more work at times but always fun to learn new stuff. Decame DCC of A1380 at begining of 2006 until 1st of 2008 when I moved to backshop. I have been at Shaw since I joined, but I finaly have orders and I am headed to Kadena.
Current or Favourite assignment
I loved being in the 55th. The guys I worked with were great. Working the line was an awsome experience. The tdy's were alot of fun. I only went to backshop cause I had been out there 6 years and was ready to learn the other half of engines. I would love to go back out there sometime. Just needed a little break
Deployments
I have been on a few tdy's but havn't had a chance to go on an actual deployment to OIF or OEF.
