Well I have been this job for a few years now and believe it is one of most rewarding jobs in the sense that busting your ass twelve hours a night to get a jet ready for the next day to make it's sortie and hear that it flew without a problem. I love this job. I have a feeling that my body itself will be thinking different here in a few years. This is my second tour to Korea and believe by the time that I retire I will be here at least on more time. I really dislike this country, but I love the tempo and the people I work with. Not so much who I work for though.
My greatest enemies so far in life are the weapons troops and the supply section here. I have never had such a hard time ordering things and then have to go and pick them up while they stay nice and cozy behind that desk of theirs. They can give me their Gortex jacket because Lord knows that the only time they wear it is when they go outside to get a ride home from somebody and then to walk 20 feet into the dorm.
Weapons is a pretty easy shop to hate. If you are a crew chief I don't even need to explain it.
