Crew Chief Profile
421st Fighter Squadron "Black Widows" , 2004 - 2005
NORDIE THE WAR HORSE- Solid Jet- Right wing tank was slow to feed when I was first assigned to it. Impounded twice for repeat/recur. Changed a tank, did an engine run everyday for a month. Turns out fuel shop CANN'd a bad FFP. They put in a new one in and she flew like a champ afterwards. Had a cabin pressure problem when she first got to Iraq in '04 but once the cabin pressure regulator was changed she was a code 1 machine. Flew 500+ hours on that deployment. Nordie had the mysterious B system steals from A system problem.

Errors and Omissions

Rt external fuel tank

An FFP will not cause the right external tank to feed into the right wing slowly. FFP has nothing to do with the external feeding slow. Fuel Shop Hill afb 2001 - 2010
