Norwegian F-16 damaged during touch-and-go landings

On Thursday an Norwegian F-16A Block 20 MLU (

) was badly damaged when its nose wheel broke during touch and go exercises at
Bodø Airport
. The RNoAF pilot was not hurt but the aircraft did sustain some considerable damage.

Chilean F-16 crash lands at Cerro Moreno

A Chilean F-16A block 20 crashed landed at Antofagasta’s Cerro Moreno International Airport (ANF) in Northern Chile today during the early hours. One of the tires blew out during takeoff forcing the pilot - who is unharmed - to make an emergency landing.

Lockheed Martin to retrofit Omani F-16s in a $94.7M deal

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $94.7 million contract to retrofit a dozen F-16 jets from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The deal was administered through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio while work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas.
