Hi, I am the daughter of Cynthia Yando, Cowboy's secretary when he head up the 31st tactical fighter wing at Homestead Air Force Base. I remember summer of 88 being a candy striper at the hospital on base and would then go to the 31st TFW afterwards and hang out with my mom and all of the pilots. I was reading up on what you had gone on to do. I must say wow very impressive. I do believe I went to your champagne flight at HAFB with my mom and you were in "Gunsmoke" as well. Such memories from that summer! I wanted to say hi and how impressed I am at your accomplishments! I remember your wife from when we went swimming at your house for a party. Tell her we said hello. Hope all is well, thank you for reading :)

Sincerely,

Barbara Ellis Jones

Hi General,

It has been a number of years since Eielson.

Hope that Troy and Tray are doing well, and they must be great young men!

Also, I hope things have gone well for you and your wife.

Just checking in and thanks again for the ride of a lifetime.

Maybe our paths will cross again some day?

Blessed regards, Larry
