Daniel 'Master' Bader flew the F-16C at 480/22FS, Spandhalem AB Germany. At that time he was also on exchange at Orange AB France in 3/5 Combat Venaissin fighter squadron on Mirage 2000C RDI (using the nickname 'Dan'). He was grounded 10 days after a collision during a landing phase with top of a trees due to a wind rafale (the gear was damaged). After he was cleared, he continued to fly with the French Air Force for a while before he went back to his unit. By the end of 1996 he became a Major and transfered to the USA from Germany at the Pentagon. |
