The Israeli military says one of their F-16s shot down an unmanned aircraft sent into Israeli airspace by Hezbollah militants. The threat was detected at 6,000 feet over the Mediterranean sea on April 25th and was destroyed shortly after by an air-to-air missile.

On April 5, 2013, Shaw AFB flags were slowly brought to half-staff at noon honoring a fallen 20th Fighter Wing combat Airman.
The Royal Netherlands Air Force scrambled F-16s today to escort two Russian Tupolev Tu-95 'Bear' bombers over the North Sea. The jets were launched from Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) at Leeuwarden AB.

Israel's military police are investigating the theft of F-16 fighter plane engines from an military base in central Israel, with the military suspecting that the thieves had inside help. The F-16C/D 'Barak' jets were undergoing repairs.
The Dutch Defence Ministry sent two F-16 fighters to intercept a Spanish airplane thought to be carrying hostages on board. The plane which took of from Malaga was bound for Amsterdam's Schiphol airport.

The Government of Norway has announced its plans to reduce its fighter contribution and withdrawal from Operation Unified Protector.
RDAF F-16s’s operating against forces loyal to Colonel Gaddafi in Libya are running out of bombs according to a June 9 report. A request to the replenish stocks has been made to the Netherlands.
Dutch F-16 fighter jets were taking part in a NATO mission over Libya, but were not involved in air strikes, the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant reported on Wednesday,quoting defence briefings.
