Hill AFB pilot killed in F-16 crash

The pilot of an F-16 was killed when the aircraft crashed at the north portion of the Utah Test and Training Range at 3 p.m. Nov. 9.
Maj. Gregory C. Martineac, 388th Fighter Wing, was conducting basic fighter maneuvers over the range when his aircraft went down.
The Air Force has convened a board of officers to investigate the accident.
