Two Dutch F-16's Juliet-33 and Juliet-45 scrambled from their base on Wednesday August 10th 12:14Z to intercept a Delta Boeing 767-332(ER) N195DN in the Netherlands airspace.

Delta flight 073 was on its route from Istanbul to New York (JFK). Because they failed to contact the Maastricht Euro UAC (Upper Area Control) centre, the Dutch F-16s were scrambled to intercept it.
