I was the crew chief of this fine jet at Tinker and flew it to the boneyard with my pilot Maj Al "Cool-Breeze" Hoover on 30 Mar 1994. Because of our conversion I cross-trained to a Boom Operator on the 135 here at Tinker. I earned my 9g pin in this jet in a 1v1 with Maj Pat "Shifty" Filburn in the front seat vs Maj Vince "Putz" Putze in 79-0393 in the Rivers MOA Sep 93. I miss this jet and this was the only Okie F16 with "OKIES" on the tail fin. This jet also flew Michael Dorn from Star Trek and Patty Wagstaff of Aerobatic fame.

Inside the speedbrakes is written the following: Right side "On solo, No One can hear you scream" and inside the left: "My other plane is a Cessna"
and the entire jet had 3 coats of wax on it the day it went to the boneyard including the tanks.

I was the Crew Chief of the Station Wagon when It arrived at Tinker until I moved on in April 1992. She had a Pic. of a 1958 Plymouth Station Wagon on each hub cap on the main tires and Forms Bag.
I was glad to hear that Marty got the Jet when I transfered to the -135 program. The ol girl flew many VIP's in the back seat when she was mine from Federal Judges, State Senators to media folks and continued when she was Marty's. 415 servied us well. It saddens me to see her at AMARC.
