Right around the time frame this was taken, 691 was flown to Nellis for some function where upon it had a braking problem on rollout. Long story short - both main tires blew and it came to rest in the infield. FOD'ed the motor, collapsed the NLG, bent the inlet, and cracked the structure forward of the canopy to include the radome.
It was trucked back to Klamath Falls and rebuilt by the 114th airframe type guys with an assist from a BDR group from Hill and was back to mission-ready inside of a year.
