USAF F-16A block 1 #78-0002 was the first F-16 to arrive at Hill AFB, Utah on November 13th, 1978 and assigned to the 16th TFTS. [Jim and Jeff Shawhan collection]

This aircaraft was the second in line te arrive at Edwards airforce base in early 1978. I was assigned as the first foreign crewchief on this craft. It was the first time that a foreign military , Dutcht,was assigned to a UAF aircraft. during mine assigment is was a member of the joint test force.
