USAF F-16A block 15 #83-1067 from the 612th TFS is parked in a static display on July 27th, 1986. It was written-off on December 17th, 1987. [Joris collection]

I was the last crew chief assigned to this airframe before it crashed. What happed is the shaft through the fuel pump separated. Fuel wasn't getting to the engine, engine stopped. The plane pancaked into the ground. Pilot ejected safely. I've got some great black and white photos of the parts that had been gathered in the hangar
