USAF F-35A #10-5012 sits on display in the new Lightning Aircraft Maintenance Unit hangar on March 18th, 2014 at Nellis AFB. The new hangar will also have an engine maintenance addition built into the facility. Engine maintenance will now be conducted in the same facility the aircraft is stored in. Not moving an engine from one facility to another will make maintenance more efficient and ultimately reduce the amount of time the aircraft must remain on the ground. [USAF photo by Airm. 1st Cl.
