Thunderbirds line-up at Aalborg AB on July 5th, 1996. This was probably the shortest airshow in the world! The airshow lasted only 10 minutes! Aalborg AB was the host of a few days off the Thunderbirds during their Europe tour. In a big rush a mini airshow was arranged with only the Thunderbirds F-16 and support aircraft. As the Thunderbirds took off a very big thunderstorm was in the viscinity of the air base and the display was limited to only one formation pass. As the 2000 people fled to their cars in the pouring rain, the Thunderbirds quickly returned to terra ferma. The pictures are taken just after the rain stopped. All the cars are gone except for a very few. [Photo by Erik Frikke]
