    DCANG 79-0344 and Bob Lake

Hello, I just added some details to the page for a/c 80-0484; my uncle Bob Lake had a mishap event with that Viper and it ended up in the Atlantic Ocean 11/91. I found out at a family gathering this weekend that THIS a/c, 0344, was the one that belonged to Bob. A detail he relayed to me was that when 0344 was stricken from active-duty and re-badged as "instructional a/c", Bob flew the plane to Sheppard AFB.

I would love to hear from any crewchief, ground crew tech, or fellow DCANG pilot who worked with either Bob Lake; the 79-0344 a/c, or both! Especially like to get some more info regarding the history of 0344 from its initial 1980 assignment to 56 TTW MC through the 121 TFS DC, and then retirement. Thank you!
