While 82-0981 was assigned to the 198 FS, PR ANG the aircraft's crew chief was my good friend TSgt Rolando "El Buey" Navarro. I had the honor to have my name stenciled on the left canopy rail as the pilot. We flew our jets to AMARC, # 981 was soon picked up by the Thai Air Force.
