USAF F-16C block 50 #91-0396 with Major Jonathan Gilbert, an F-16 test pilot for the 40th FLTS at Eglin AFB, flies an AIM-9X test mission on July 17th, 2015 over the Gulf of Mexico. The AIM-9X Sidewinder is an air-to-air missile being tested for weapons development. Upon completion of the test, Gilbert flew a fly-by with the Navy's USS Independence. [USAF photo by SrA.
