78-090
This is the first jet I crewed on day shift at Hill AFB while in the 16th TFTS at Hill AFB during the summer of 1981 until Feb 1982. During that time it was an excellent flying jet. -

I was a Crew Chief on 78-0090 at Eglin AFB Test Wing, Ft. Walton Beach Florida from 1990-1992. Had a over 100 fuel leaks when we got it in addition to other chronic problems. After a year of continous work and being the hanger queen we got it flying Code 1. -

Crewed this jet at LUKE, AFB, 311th AMU, 86-89. The picture is when the jet belonged to me and Sgt Davis Bechtol. She was a great flyer, not sure what happened after I left that she ended up with all those fuel leaks. One month we had the GE test engine in it and set a new TAC record for hours flown in a month, sure was glad when we hauled that out, got tired of working 12 hour days and every weekend.
