USAF F-16C block 40 #88-0477 from the 421st FS catches an arresting cable during a certification test of the system on March 16th, 2008 at Balad AB. The system was installed by the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron on March 15th and must go through a certification test with an actual F-16 to ensure its operability. [USAF photo by SrA.
