Dutch government finally agrees on moving on with F-35
February 29, 2008 (by
Rishnackh) -
The Ducth left-wing Labour Party (PvdA) who at first opposed the JSF program, has now decided to support it and move on with the F-35.
This means the government has now finally and irreversibly agreed on helping to develop and purchasing the F-35 as its future multi-role combat aircraft.
The reason for the turnaround is probably the fact that a lot of new jobs will be created and the money that will come out of it for the Dutch industry.
