Missing F-35 pictures
We've been able to keep track of most F-35 deliveries thanks to a number of Fort Worth based photographers. But we miss these aircraft to complete our F-35 collection. If anyone has a picture of those, that would be awesome!

God I love the new paintjob. The "finish" is much, much more pleasing to the eyes IMO than what they were flying prior. Being a uniform color, I bet it's a lot easier to apply and maintain too...

Many thanks, and welcome.
I have to wonder: In 10, 15 maybe 20 years.... will F-35's look this "polished"? I can't really see a "weathered" F-35 like so many jets of yesteryear. God, I've seen some dirty F-4's, F-15E's and F-16's in my time. But not F-15C's.... I assume that their mission/flying hours is what contributes the most? Even as a ground pounder, I think it'll continue to look smooth as a baby's bottom.. probably due to the nature of its stealth/RAM coatings.
Long ago SNAFUfella complained about the 'weathered' F-35Cs testing aboard CVNs - there were photos of the old scheme.

I imagine they will not keep the radar coating up on some of the first generations that are testbeds and nonoperational. But it will be surreal for sure.
Yes the paint is part of the overall radar reflection reduction scheme however weathering was perhaps on older paint in the older paint scheme on the test F-35Cs of years ago now. In the meantime a new paint and paint scheme was devised. Info on this forum somewhere. The main radar reflection minimisation is not only the shape of the F-35 but the overall structural 'honeycomb skin'. Info on these aspects also in the forum in various places. Forum links will give a lot of info.
