EHHHHHH........................
The fighter is not what counts, it's the one who's flying it that matters!

I guess your photo wouldn't load up because there are words and links on the page also, not just the picture. But hey, it's a great pic of the Eagle though.

My pretty list includes:
The F-86E and F models, F-104, F-106, A-4, F-5A and E models, F-8, XB-70, F-15, F/A-18A and C models, and the F-22.
The F-20 Tigershark...D@mn! That jet was just the quintessential look that a fighter should have. Too bad she never saw service. Beautiful jet...well, at least in the Black or Gray paint schemes anyway.
To this day, however, I still think one of the prettiest jets I have ever seen, and the subject of many aviation fantasies since my childhood was the SR-71 Blackbird. Too bad she'll probably never fly again.
Just like the Tigershark...something that pretty needs to be in the air.
Beers and MiGs were made to be pounded!

I agree with you, TC... the SR-71 and the F-20 Tigershark are one of the prettiest jets....

Talking of X planes....would you say this was pretty??? Or just cool?
Or awful!! I would say it has all three elements.......The last one, I know you said no Vipers but I couldn`t resist! An interesting paint job on that Belgian bird!

I gotta go with the funky stuff. The odder it looks, the cooler it is.

Don't worry, the movie Stealth is a joke anyway. How many redundacies are there on planes these days? I know it's a heck of a lot, so the chances of stuff going wrong with a UCAV is slim.
I'm just curious for anyone who'd answer. What's with the different wing planforms? The Europeans seem to ALWAYS be using a delta w/ canards now. The Russians use a standard configuration but with those funky little front canards. Why do they do this? Are there inherint advantages to each? Here's the basics of all this.
The Russian make some interesting planes, but they all seem like target practice. They always seem to over hype everything about their armed forces and the Americans don't say much at all about theirs. Any ideas on this one?
Who threatens the Europeans right now that they need comparable military things to the US?
Anywho, just rambling. Should probably be another topic.

[quote="DeepSpace"]OK, maybe you will like this one more (ATG/IAI Javelin) :
1. I got to push that jet into position for filming by Discovery Wings last year, free t-shirt
2. As it has already been said, the P-38 is a beautiful plane especially that Glacier Girl. Woo pretty!
3.The Gripen I have to say is a good looking plane second to the Dornier Seaplane
