forward swept wings... very interesting. I haven't seen that feature since the X-29 and the Berkut.
CF-105 Avro Arrow - AWESOME. I love those high speed interceptors from the 50s and 60s. I also really like the F-108.
Sick plane man. See below.

I thought that forward swept wings were intended to reduce induced drag in turns, but didn't work as well as expected. What's the point on a trainer?
Einstein got it backward: one cannot prevent a war without preparing for it.

From my understanding the forward swept wing design was supposed to help keep airflow over control surfaces during high AoAs.

It is also my understanding that forward swept wings actually produce "more drag" than conventional swept back designs. Forward swept wings would always have slower top speeds when compared to swept back wing. Northrop Grumman tried to get around this with the Switchback concept. You'll see that concept in fictional aircraft in video games and movies.
speaking of concept or experimental aircraft. This one is just too damn sexy in my eyes.

Looks completely out of proportion to me, like an F/A-18 front fuselage being mated to something undefinable.

Yeah it looks like a mish mash of a lot of everybody else`s ideas.
