thanks for that read, it was a good one. I always hear about how a tomcat killed an eagle, a viper killed an eagle, etc. of course every fighter pilot projects the image that their particular mount is top dog but in a way it is a compliment that the eagle is always the one to beat in these stories. so rarely do I read from the eagle driver's perspective and I am glad that the same swagger is there

More interesting would be how to employ the F-16 and F-15 in a combined arms situation. Their tactics and performances being different, it would put in a better question the reasoning for a more efficient high-low mix in the future.
Maybe have an aircraft optimized to lower altitude combat and the other to higher or staggered intercept profiles what not in a scenario etc.
