The Mirage on the 5th picture, who's is that?
When flying, always make sure the pointy end goes forward.

Olgo,

My records of that F-4E says that it transferred to South Korea in March 1990?????!!!!!!!

Surviving Egyptian F-4Es - appx. 30 - are still flying with the 222nd Tactical Fighter Brigade´s 76th and 78th Squadrons at Cairo West AB.

Greetings,

Henrik.

For all these years I thought my jet was sucking sand.Do you know the status of the ROK Jets?68-0322 is the one month high time flyer in SEA.
122.6Hrs all Iron Bomb, Nov.70 469th Korat RTAFB does not include a 3 day Phase and DBL engine change FCF.
Sorry for the rant folke, but I do miss my jet.Its what we do whene we start to get old

Hi Olgo,

I am not nearly as "knowledgeable" on the F-4 than the F-16, but I strongly believe that it is still operational - at least until the F-15K enters full operational service.

At least three RoKAF F-4E squadrons - 152th, 153rd and 156th - remain active with the 17th FW at Cheongju AB in the mid-western part of the country.

Greetings,

Henrik.
