Texas ANG F-16 pilot passes the 4,000-hour mark

October 1, 2005 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Col. Jeffrey S. 'CAG' Smiley, pilot with the 111th Fighter Squadron (part of the ANG 147 FW), passed the 4,000-hour mark in the F-16 during an Operation Iraqi Freedom combat mission.

Just 5 years after passing the 3,000K mark, Col. Smiley now joins a select club of eight other pilots who accumulated more than 4,000 flight hours in the F-16.

F-16.net would like to congratulate Colonel Smiley for this great achievement.
