Landing gear failed on Danish F-16

August 13, 2004 (by Anonymous) - At approximately 12.00h yesterday, RDAF F-16BM #ET-204 suffered a mishap at Aalborg AB during the practice of touch-and-gos. The landing gear collapsed and the aircraft came to a halt on its belly with apparently only minor damage.

Its was later lifted up and towed away on its own wheels.

Aalborg AB is host to the Esk 726 'Phantom' F-16 squadron.
