US approves $110 Million equipment to support RNLAF F-16s
RNlAF F-16BM #J-065 from 306 sqn assigned to the Arizona ANG’s 162nd FW at Tucson IAP lands on December 10th, 2010 using a drag chute. Chutes are typically employed by Dutch fighters as a safety feature for short field landings and adverse weather conditions. They can reduce the needed runway length by nearly 50 percent. ENJJPT Star Awarded to Dutch Pilot
The 'ENJJPT Star' is awarded to RNlAF F-16 pilot, Col. Peter 'Wobble' Tankink at Sheppard AFB. This is the third honor for a Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program graduate in the program's 30 year history. The award recognizes extraordinary aviation moments. For Tankink, it was his first shoot-first kill downing of a MiG-29 during Operation Allied Forces Kosovo in 1999. He shared the experience with a standing-room-only crowd of undergraduate pilots and instructors on September 15th, 2014. [USAF photo by A1C. Jelani Gibson]

May 26, 2014 - The Netherlands has decided to send four fighters in September in order to strengthen the air police mission in the Baltic states. The Dutch will also take the opportunity to train with colleagues from the Polish Air Force and with the AWACS radar aircraft. [Read more...]
